We consolidated the business registration process down from 7 different websites, 3 different payment platforms, and 4 different government agencies into one seamless, easy-to-use software interface.

FarmX Irrigation and Autonomous Vehicle Software
UX Foundry provided the User Research, UX Design, Web Design and video production for two massive projects. First, we designed and built a mobile app that automates irrigation across multiple ranches. Second, we designed and built software for autonomous in-field vehicles
I have had the pleasure of working with Mike DeJonge for the last four years, as he has served as our lead UI/UX designer. Mike led a complete ground-up redesign of our web application, with a strong emphasis on mobile-first usability in offline and outdoor environments. He also designed a new mobile app for the installation and maintenance of a new hardware product we launched.
Mike’s work was consistently excellent. He organized and conducted user studies, created detailed mockups based on product and market needs, ran design reviews with stakeholders, and developed interactive prototypes for investor and customer demos. He also led the migration of our design system from Illustrator to Figma.
Mike is a seasoned designer with a deep portfolio, and equally important, he’s a great collaborator—easy to work with, open to feedback, but also confident enough to advocate for sound design decisions. I had the privilege of conducting a Usability Assessment for Dr. Mark’s digital ecosystem. I evaluated everything from the usability and accessibility of his website, the consistency of his brand across his internet presence, the ease of finding his services online, as well as the ease of performing important tasks, like contacting Mark, scheduling an appointment, or booking a phone call.
I presented the findings in a Usability Audit Report and together we came up with a plan to completely redesign his brand and website.
Before, there was no clear messaging or call to action, the logo and navigation was dim and hard to read, and the user had to go to multiple websites to schedule, shop or contact Mark.
After, the brand was clean and consistent, the calls to action were clear, and everything from scheduling to shopping could be done right within the website.
